        National President, Secondary Division
        Kareena Garg

        Currently a senior at Waubonsie Valley High School in Illinois, Kareena Garg is both proud and humbled to serve as the 2017-2018 National Secondary President. Kareena is also currently serving as the Illinois Association President and President of her high school chapter, but her passion and dedication towards BPA extend beyond just her leadership and service towards the organization. She has received the Ambassador Torch and Illinois Merit Scholar Awards, earned the 2017 Gold President's Volunteer Service Award, participated as a national intern, and placed third place at Nationals in the prepared speech competition. Outside of BPA, Kareena is a certified 4th-degree black belt and master in Taekwondo and enjoys baking, dancing, playing golf, and spending time with her family and friends. She quotes that "BPA has made me the person I am today- both as a leader and as an individual" and that she is "strongly motivated to give back to the organization by serving its members and fulfilling her duties as a National Officer". She is looking forward to working with a phenomenal national officer team this year and inspiring members to grow professionally while making life lasting memories and achieving their goals!

        National Vice President, Secondary Division
        Jon Perrault

        Jon Perrault is excited to be serving as your 2017-2018 Secondary National Vice President. He is attending Northwood University to earn a degree in business management. Jon has served as the Escanaba High School chapter President for the past three years, recently completed his term as the State Secretary/Treasurer for the Michigan Association, and is the President-Elect at Northwood. He has earned his National Merit Scholar, Ambassador Torch Award and is a certified student member. Outside of BPA, Jon enjoys watching NBC’s, The Office, working to grow his technology and promotional product business, and spending time with his family. He hopes to continue helping BPA members strive to become true business professionals!

        National Secretary, Secondary Division
        Princess Achobang

        Currently in her fifth year of Business Professionals of America and a graduating senior from William Penn High School in Delaware, Princess Achobang is honored to serve as the 2017-2018 Secondary National Secretary. Before serving on the national level, Princess had been elected as her local chapter president and then as the state president for Delaware. She is currently attending the University of Maryland, studying Marketing, with a minor in Political Science. Princess is a US Presidential Scholar semi-finalist as well as a student ambassador for her school. Outside of BPA, Princess enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, napping for extensive periods of time, eating new food, and mentoring younger national volleyball teams. Princess is thrilled to work on new projects and achieve many goals with the new officer team!

        National Treasurer, Secondary Division
        Carlos Boyd

        Carlos Boyd is serving as your 2017-2018 Secondary National Treasurer. He will be attending Washington University in St. Louis to pursue majors in Finance and Entrepreneurship and a minor in Technology. Carlos has been a member of Business Professionals of America for two years and has served our organization at the local, state, and now national level. Carlos has served as a state and national intern and has also received his Ambassador Torch Award twice. Outside of BPA Carlos enjoys playing and watching sports, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Carlos is very excited and eager to work with such a strong national officer team this year.

        National Historian, Secondary Division
        Erika Nance
        ENance@bpa.org | @BPAHistorian 

        Erika Nance is a fourth year member of Business Professionals of America and is proud to represent the organization as the 2017-2018 National Secondary Historian. She is attending the University of Southern Indiana and majoring in economics, with the intention of becoming a college professor. Erika has previously served as the chapter president for Heritage Hills High School in Indiana. Erika is a certified student member, an Ambassador Torch Award recipient, and has earned the BPA Merit Scholar Award twice. Erika also received the Silver Presidents Volunteer Service Award in 2017 and has been a WSAP national finalist three times. In her free time, Erika enjoys doing yoga, cooking, finding eclectic coffee shops, and helping others.  Erika is humbled to have been given the opportunity to serve as a national officer, and looks forward to working with such a motivated team.

        Jacob Taylor

        Jacob joined Business Professionals of America as a sophomore in high school and was inspired to seize the opportunities offered. Jake is excited to begin his seventh year in BPA to continue to help the Post-Secondary members seize these opportunities. He is currently attending Northwood University in Michigan in pursuit of his MBA. In BPA, Jake has served as a local officer five times, served as Michigan’s State Parliamentarian in 2014-2015, and been a three-time National finalist in Legal Office Procedures. Jake is not only honored, but excited to be serving as your 2017-2018 National Post-secondary President, and looks forward to seeing you all in Dallas, Texas!

        National Vice President, Post-secondary Division
        Garrett Bock

        Your 2017-2018 National Post-Secondary Vice President is Garrett Bock. Garrett feels honored and beyond humbled to serve the organization that has given him so much already. Garrett is in his second year of college at Lake Superior College in Duluth, Minnesota, majoring in Aviation Management. During his time in BPA he has served on the Local, Regional, State, and now National levels. Garrett is also a two-time Ambassador Torch Award recipient. In his free time, Garrett loves to travel and hopes to travel across the country to meet the amazing people who make BPA the success it is. With the support of family, friends, advisors, and team members, he hopes to help each member realize his or her potential and hopes to help members' dreams come true.

        National Parliamentarian, Post-secondary Division
        Cody Gervasi

        Cody is a junior at Oklahoma State University where he is studying to become a business teacher and dedicated BPA advisor with plans on obtaining an MBA. Cody has obtained the Ambassador Torch Award twice, as well as achieving the status of a BPA Merit Scholar and Certified Member through the Student Certification Series. This year will mark Cody’s sixth year of membership in our organization. Cody has competed in Global Marketing Team, placing first in the nation in 2016, as well as the extemporaneous speech, human resource management, and parliamentary concepts events. Before being elected as a national officer Cody served as Oklahoma’s state president. Cody is determined to see all 50 states and as many countries as possible in his lifetime. A fun fact about Cody is that he loves music and has played the trumpet for 8 years, and loves to sing!
