Brian Kelleher

Brian Kelleher, a freshman at the University of Delaware, is currently serving as your National Secondary President. He previously served as the National Treasurer of the Secondary Division. For the past six years, he has been an active member of BPA from Middle Level all the way to Post-secondary. He has served as an officer on the local and state levels as well. He is a three-time Ambassador Torch Award Recipient, two-time Member Recruiter of the Year, a BPA Merit Scholar, and a WeSeed Social Circle Challenge winner.

In high school, Brian served as Class President and President of Students Against Destructive Decisions. He also was involved in National Honor Society, Math League, and Mock Trial. Brian is majoring in Political Science, in hopes of attaining a joint MBA/JD, to one day become a successful corporate lawyer.


Derek Livermont

Derek Livermont became a part of the national officer team after serving as the Public Relations Director for the Montana Association of Business Professionals of America. He’s placed at the National Leadership Conference for the past three years in Spreadsheet Applications and Analysis and went on to become a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist.

This fall, Derek will be attending the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. As a Point Scholar, he plans to become involved in the LGBT community and to make a difference through campus groups. Upon graduation, he hopes to get involved in a business career and maintaining a steady involvement in the political realm. With the skills and experience attained during his years with Business Professionals of America, Derek sincerely hopes to make a difference in the world.


Brittany Sparks

Brittany Sparks is a freshman at the University of Oklahoma, majoring in microbiology with a minor in business.  She is from Alex, Oklahoma has maintained involvement in BPA for seven years.  Brittany is a three-time state officer, most recently the state president of Oklahoma BPA. Her passion and dedication for the organization shows with her numerous honors including receiving the Ambassador Torch Award and recognition as a National BPA Merit Scholar.

Brittany is also an active member in her school and community.  She has displayed leadership by serving as a two time student council president, cheerleading captain, and chairman of many community service projects such as Special Olympics. While at Alex High School, Brittany was a three sport star in basketball, track, and softball. Her hobbies include meeting new people, public speaking, and inspiring others.


Lyndsay Robinson

Lyndsay Robinson recently graduated from Shawsheen Technical High School in the Business Technology shop in Billerica, Massachusetts as the valedictorian and the class president. She has been a member of Business Professionals of America for four years and she has served as president of her chapter and state for two consecutive years.

During her years in high school, Lyndsay was a member of her varsity swim team and captain of the varsity cross country team.  Lyndsay was a member of student council, teen dating violence awareness, and the president of National Honor Society.  Lyndsay was also in her oratory club where she competed in various speech competitions throughout the state of Massachusetts being named Lions Club “Best in State” speech competitor.

Having a love for politics, she has interned for her congresswoman and worked on many governmental campaigns. In the fall, she will be attending Saint Anselm College with a major in political science and a minor in communications in hopes to some day become a lawyer and a politician.


Jessica Guerrero

With two years under her belt as a member of Business Professionals of America, Jessica Guerrero has become the 2010-2011 National Historian; first attaining presidency of her chapter and region as well as running for state office.

In her personal life, she enjoys attending church, cleaning, cooking, crafts, and recently being married to her high school sweetheart, Anthony Guerrero. While Jessica still represents Ohio, her home state, she currently resides in Illinois. She currently works at Solix CMR, as a Business-to-Business Sales Agent.

However, in the fall, Jessica will also be putting the skills and knowledge she learned from her Legal Assistant degree and her time in Business Professionals of America to pursue her post-secondary education full-time at Sinclair Community College, receiving her Associates Degree in Business. Then she plans on transferring to Texas A&M for a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations. Her ultimate goal is to be working as a broadcast journalist or a public speaker.


Jay Mulakala

Jay Mulakala joined the 2010-2011 National Officer Team after four years of active involvement with Business Professionals of America. Competing in Entrepreneurship and Video Production Team, he made it to the National Leadership Conference in Reno, Nevada as a freshman. As a sophomore, Jay placed second at nationals in Entrepreneurship while serving as a voting delegate for the state of Illinois. He has also served as a chapter and state officer and has received the Ambassador Torch Award.

In addition to BPA, Jay has also been an active member of Skills USA. He coordinated several service projects for the organization as well as competing at the regional and state level in Technical Drafting CAD, Technical Math, and Digital Color Photography, in which he placed first in state. He has also interned with Packer Engineering, Inc. during his sophomore year, continuing through the summer of 2009, gaining experience with team building and determination.

Jay plans on completing his senior year at Waubonsie Valley High School and then pursuing an education in Aerospace engineering, with a minor in Business at the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign. He plans on using the leadership and business skills he has attained from Business Professionals of America as he strives to become a sole proprietor of his own company some day.

Micah Hopper

Micah Hopper joined Business Professionals of America in 2008 and has been active in leadership ever since. He has been his local chapter President for 2 years, State president and now the National President. He has received his Ambassador Award and has placed in the top 10 each year at Nationals in his competitive events.He has been active in his community by being an assistant speech coach, volunteer assistant football coach as well as helping out with Big Buddies, a youth group leader and an advisory member of the Economic Development Authority.

In addition to BPA, Micah is also a father and a business owner. He has 3 small children at home (ages 6, 3 and 3 months), and he has a foster daughter. Micah is from Minnesota and attends Minnesota West Community and Technical College in Jackson, MN where he is a full time student.  He will have numerous computer degrees after graduating as well as a business degree, all of which will help him in his computer consulting business.


Kevin Benjamin

Kevin Benjamin attends Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, and he is the National Vice President. Kevin is majoring in Entrepreneurship with concentrations in Marketing Management and International Business.  He had been a member of Business Professionals of America since 2004. Throughout his term, Kevin, in his third term as a National Officer, has also served on the local and state levels. He has competed successfully in many competitions and is very involved with the advancement of the Rhode Island Chapter.  

Outside of BPA, Kevin enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, and participating in outdoor sports.  After college, he attends to go into the business world and then pursue his master’s degree.


Holley Wolfe

Holley Wolfe joined the 2010-2011 BPA National Officer Team after being involved with BPA for three years. During this time, Holley has been actively involved by placing at nationals each year, receiving her Ambassador Torch Award, and serving on officer teams at the local and state level each year.

On top of BPA, Holley is involved in Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, the Community Drama Team, the School Choir, her Church Choir, and her Church Drama Team.

Holley plans on using the leadership skills she has gained during BPA to help as she continues her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Post-Secondary/Adult Education through Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.


Jeremy Willard

Jeremy Willard is a sophomore at Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas where he is majoring in Information Technology systems. Going into his third year in BPA, Jeremy has served as a local officer and a state officer and has qualified for national competition in IT events every year, including a 3rd place finish in 2009.

Along with BPA, Jeremy has also been involved in various other activities on campus, including student government and Phi Theta Kappa honor society, where he currently serves as Kansas region president.  In his free time, he enjoys working with technology, listening to music, playing video games, and supporting his favorite professional soccer team.

Jeremy also holds various professional IT certifications, including certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft.  After earning his Associates degree from Coffeyville Community College in 2011, he would like to continue his education and earn his Bachelor’s degree.  After that, he would like to work as an IT administrator for a business or corporation.
