If you are interested in developing your leadership skills, BPA offers an opportunity to improve your skills. Regional, state, and national conferences promotes leadership development by providing an arena for the election of officers. Serving as an officer in BPA provides an opportunity for advancing personal growth and encouraging responsibility, developing management skills, enjoying travel experience, increasing public speaking competence, and networking with others.
BPA’s Workplace Skills Assessment Program consists of dozens of competitions in four general categories: finance, information technology, management/marketing/HR and administrative support. Students may compete at regional, state, and national levels demonstrating their acquired skills. The excitement and enthusiasm of competing and being recognized for their accomplishment is a highlight for every student.
