        Secondary Idaho Association Officer Biography

        Secretary

        Cameron Arnzen (CArnzen@idahobpa.org)

I am Cameron Arnzen, Business Professionals of America’s Idaho Secretary. I am a senior at New Plymouth High School,  a 2A school located near the Idaho-Oregon border. So far I have LOVED my time as an officer, and I know that the next few months will be amazing! BPA wasn’t always a big deal to me. In fact, it wasn’t on my radar until my sister forced me to attend a regional conference my freshman year. Now BPA is a major part of my life. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to give back to BPA and all of its members.

I have served as a chapter officer as a freshman, sophomore, and as a junior. I enjoy competition, which is why I was first attracted to BPA. Freshman year I competed in Integrated Office and on a Presentation Management Team. I quickly learned that I would have to try harder next year due to the fact that I didn’t even make it out of regionals in either. Both sophomore year and junior year I qualified for nationals in Integrated Office. Last year I also participated in the Torch Awards program, and I loved every bit of it. I would definitely encourage you all to start yours as well.

Outside of BPA, I am a runner. I participate in both cross country and track. I hurdle in track; as for Cross Country, I would prefer to just leave it at “I run cross country!” While BPA is my main focus, I also find time to be involved in New Plymouth’s Idaho Drug Free Youth, Family Career and Community Leaders of America, Student Council, Law Team, and finally Drama Club. I really enjoy being involved.  Hopefully this creates some common ground between us.

So far, my future plan is to attend the College of Idaho next fall. I hope to study political science, theatre, and, of course, business. While planning my future, I am mainly focusing on my senior year, and helping make BPA the best it can be.

If you have any questions at all feel free to email me. Remember: we are here to help you! Even if you just want to get to know me; that is all right too! Good luck this year in all of your endeavors. I can’t wait to see you all at SLC!
