Why Join Business Professionals of America? Because it will be an amazing experience. Period.
By joining BPA, you will achieve personal and professional growth while creating connections on local, state and even national levels. You will build leadership, business and communication skills together with fellow members. These connections made are solidified by the friendships created throughout the events and local meetings. And the networking with advisors and other students and the overall personal and business interactions are truly indescribable.
Participating in BPA affords you the opportunity to be part of an incredible organization that helps prepare students to become an effective and skilled workforce. There are over 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states across the country. The BPA mission is to contribute to the preparation of a world class workforce through the advancement of leaders, citizenship, academic and technological skills.

You will have the opportunity to participate in the BPA Competitions. If, and when, you qualify at the State Competition, then you will move on to the National Leadership Conference. This year it is being held in Boston, MA as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary. It will be another fantastic event! The competitions vary from individual to team events and objective tests to judged presentations. There is something for just about everyone with over 50 categories in

the primary topics of Finance, IT, Administra- tive Support, Human Resources, Management and Marketing.

With BPA there are ser- vice opportunities as well within the BPA Cares Program and The Torch Awards Program which recognize students for their leadership and service to their chapter and community. There are also Scholarship opportunities within the organization. You can even decide to run for a position on the State and National Officer Teams.

With BPA, you will have this growth within yourself that you may not have even known the potential was there. We hope to meet you at our Fall Leadership Conference October 24.
