          New BPA Partnership Announcement

Contributed by Business Professionals of America

BPA Announces New Partnership Poised to Bring New Learning Opportunities to Members

Business Professionals of America (BPA) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Capsim, a global leader in creating experiential learning opportunities for students and both young and established professionals to assess and develop the key skills needed in today’s business landscape. Bringing business learning to life, Capsim has been taking business education from textbooks and case studies to simulation-based pedagogy for more than 30 years by providing services to over 800 universities, colleges and high schools around the world in addition to many Fortune 500 companies.

This new partnership between BPA and Capsim invites the students and advisors of our organization to leverage and engage in Capsim’s learning environments through online simulations and resources that offer a variety of benefits including engagement, gamification, experiential learning, student ownership, discovery and dynamic applications.

“Simulations are known to offer a realistic learning opportunity and a level of engagement beyond what other instructional material may, and the simulations and assessments developed by Capsim will provide a great benefit to all members of Business Professionals of America whether student, advisor or alumni,” said BPA Director of Education Dustin Devers. “From the importance of soft skills development to critical thinking, the value and opportunity that Capsim can offer our members through their simulation-based resources will help enhance their skills, knowledge and preparation for both educational and professional advancement.”

The goals of this partnership include engaging more members across the country and establishing academic support strategies to address the challenges of preparing students for careers in a world-class workforce by incorporating the use of technology to enhance soft skills learning and business preparedness. By working together, BPA and Capsim can make a difference for today’s students and tomorrow’s business professionals.

“Capsim is delighted to partner with Business Professionals of America in order to provide its members and advisors with the same experiential learning opportunities we provide universities and companies around the globe,” said Matthew Shell, Business Development Manager for Capsim. “Our philosophy is simple, people learn best by doing. We look forward to working with BPA and are excited to contribute to the development of tomorrow’s business leaders.”

To learn more about Capsim as well as their products and services, visit their website at www.capsim.com, and make plans to attend their Advisor Workshop at this year’s National Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX this May.
