Making Your Idea Successful

As you stand looking at the race you propose to run, what do you see on the track?

  • How much fuel (start-up capital) will you need?
  • Who will be on your “pit” crew (staff)?
  • Are there any obstacles you will have to overcome?
  • Who are your competitors?
  • How will you outrun your competitors?

You can bet that NASCAR teams consider questions like these (and more) well before their cars ever leave the starting line. As an entrepreneur, you must also know the answers to these questions and have a strategy for winning the race you are entering.

What is the most important thing a successful entrepreneur does before starting a business?

Choice 1 Hire a staff
Choice 2 Write a business plan
Choice 4 Get a job
Choice 1 All of the above
