Competition is not necessarily negative. In fact, it can inspire you to create a better product and deliver better customer service. Try to see the positive side of competition and use it to your advantage.
Ignoring your competition is very unwise. You need to know everything you can about your competitors. Look for their weaknesses and find ways to outsmart them, but never ignore them.
This is absolutely right. Your business plan should include a section describing your top competitors, their strengths and weaknesses, and how you plan to overcome their influence in the marketplace.
