"...Never Work a Day in Your Life" Harvey Mackay, a well-known speaker and business leader, said it this way: “Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” Successful entrepreneurs do not hate their work. Most successful entrepreneurs choose businesses that allow them to do work they enjoy and be around people they like. You may think these people are working, but most of the time, they aren’t — they are having fun. Think about all the entrepreneurs you have read about in the previous lessons: Oprah Winfrey, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Fred Smith, Michael Dell, Jim Casey, Estée Lauder, Tony Hawk, Howard Schultz, Pierre Omidyar, and John Schnatter. These entrepreneurs were successful because they found a way to get paid to do something they already loved to do. Additionally, they all had a burning desire (or passion) to achieve their goals. So when the going got tough, they didn’t give up — they kept on doing what they loved to do and became amazingly successful. This is the mindset you will need in order to make your entrepreneurial dreams come true.
