Welcome back!  We’re glad you decided to enter Track 2 of the Ready, Set, Go Public program.  

In Lessons 1-6, you spent a great deal of time exploring the possibilities of entering the race called business. You stood at the starting gate and considered all the pros and cons, potential obstacles, and requirements for running the race of entrepreneurship. And you began to develop a strategy for starting a business that has the potential to one day grow large enough to go public.

Now you are sitting at the starting line, waiting for the flag signaling the beginning of the race. The six lessons in Track 2 are designed to help you accomplish several exciting and important milestones in the development of your business:

• Writing a business plan as a tool to raise capital
• Creating a “road show” presentation for potential investors
• Delivering your presentation before selected business experts

In Track 2, we expect you to rev your engines, cross the starting line, and begin the race toward the goal of business success. So let’s get started! In Lesson 7, you will discover some important ways you can strengthen your entrepreneurial skills and prepare for future success in business.
